Gary Zamchick, Chief Visualizion Officer

Gary has pioneered innovative ways to accelerate the new product and content development process. Working across many industries - from banking to publishing to education to technology, his rapid visual approach results in a richer set of valuable and relevant solutions. Recent clients include IBM's Center for Advanced Learning, DARPA-IPTO, Columbia University's Center for Computational Learning. Gary is a founding member of Semanticlight LLC (www.semanticlight.com) .

Until 2002, Gary was responsible for Strategic Design at AT&T Labs Research, managing a team of designers and programmers that visualized new products and services. Prior to that, he was Senior Multimedia Producer for Time Inc. New Media's Roadrunner broadband service. Additionally, as president of Dadabase Design for 16 years, Gary designed the user experience for banking kiosks (Citibank), CD-ROMS (PBS), home shopping solutions (AT&T), building display systems (World Financial Center) and multi-player games. Gary has also illustrated the best-selling "French for Cats" humor book series (by Henry Beard) and done numerous illustrations in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Gary got his start in design working with world famous designers Seymour Chwast (Push Pin) and R.O. Blechman (The Ink Tank) at their studios.

He is currently teaching a Masters level course in "Rapid Visualization" as an adjunct professor at the New York University Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences.
